AirPods & Beats Compatibility Guide

Before purchasing a replacement, it is important to determine which model you own. There are multiple generations available and some models look identical, but they are not compatible with each other. Understanding your model number will reduce returns and allow you to get the right replacement. 

To determine your generation, locate the model number in the first text line on the underside of the AirPod. Here's an example shown below:

If the markings are faded, you can also determine the model number by looking at your device settings. Just go to your device Bluetooth settings, tap the "i" icon next to your original set, and scroll down to the about section. Below is an example:
*Note, the model number listed through device settings will always display the model number of the left side only*
